Fracture Clinic

The Fracture Clinic service treats patients with uncomplicated fractures referred from the Walk in Centre.

Patients who present at the Haywood Walk in Centre and are diagnosed with a simple bone fracture are referred to the the Fracture Clinic for treatment instead of being referred to University Hospital of North Staffordshire's fracture clinic.    

The fracture clinic service is provided from consulting room facilities within the Walk-in Centre, situated on the Haywood Hospital site and operates 3 days each week:

Monday 1:00pm to 2:00pm
Wednesday 1:00pm to 2:00pm
Friday 1:00pm to 2:00pm

Access for telephone queries and appointments is during the following hours:

Monday to Friday 7:00am to 10:00pm
Weekends and Bank Holidays 9:00am to 10:00pm

Patients who do not fit the criteria for treatment by the Walk in Centre Fracture Clinic will be referred to the next available UHNS Fracture Clinic.
