ENT Service in the Community

The Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) service provides GP led clinics at Blurton Health Centre.

On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Wednesday of each month two GPs with a special interest in ENT hold a morning and afternoon clinic at Blurton Health Centre.  The morning clinic is provided by Dr Reddy and the afternoon clinic by Dr Guindy.  Both clinics are supported by a Staff Nurse.

Referrals to the clinic are received via the Choice and Referral Centre and are checked by Dr Reddy to ensure that they are suitable to be seen at the community clinics.

Patients with the following symptoms may be seen by the GPs.

• Glue Ear (over 5 years of age)
• Otitis Externa
• Nose Bleeds
• Rhinitis
• Nasal Blockage
• Tonsillectomy-direct access to pre-assessment
